Since its inception, the Teneriffe Festival has delivered over 20,000 minutes of live entertainment, which is the equivalent to two weeks of continual viewing! We’ve staged over 250 performances and displays, featuring over 175 bands and encompassing some 750 performers, in conjunction with 100 fashion models, approximately 100 historical displays and well in excess of 1,000 food and beverage vendors feeding the patrons over that time. But we are about nothing if not reinvention and the 2018 Teneriffe Festival is set to be one of the brightest and most sophisticated events on the calendar this year. These are just a few of our programming highlights:
Teneriffe’s Street Party
Each year the laneway party proves to be the hidden gem of the Festival and this year will be no different. Various Streets will transform into a festive playground with a chilled out beats, great food and beverage and plenty of space to sit and watch the world walk by.
Diversity Designed to Appeal
Live music is a core component of the festival and covers many styles from jazz to roots and alternative pop to indie. Even genres such as theatrical crooning, modern vintage, psych-rock, alt-country Americana, and acoustic post-punk have formed part of the music programming. The Festival’s musical roster continues to represent a diverse and dynamic musical line-up and has gone from strength-to-strength.
The program across the multiple stages within the Festival precinct reflects the broad demographic of the event. Party goers, young professionals, families and music lovers of any age will find something to listen to and be part of on the day.
